I am delighted to introduce two Accredited Practising Dietitians who will be working out of my Ballina rooms from January 2019. Renee Hrudicka from Nutrition Your Way and Gabriela Negrao both provide evidenced based nutrition advice and education for a range of conditions.
I (Adelle Purbrick) will continue to accept referrals for the following areas in my Ballina and Lennox Head locations:
- Gastroenterology and gut health including diverticular disease, IBS, IBD, GORD, Low FODMAP diet etc.
- Allergies and Intolerances including RPAH food chemical elimination diet, cow’s milk protein allergy, coeliac disease etc.
- Eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and post gastric surgery.
- Sports nutrition.
Renee and Gabriela will accept all other referrals, including
- Chronic Disease, including diabetes, heart disease, pancreatitis and liver disease
- Non-Diet Approach to weight management
- DVA clients
- Malnutrition
- NDIS clients
Renee from Nutrition Your Way has over seven years’ experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics and community health centres. Throughout this time, Renee has seen a diverse range of clients, specifically for weight management and for the nutritional management of chronic disease. Her passion is assisting clients with weight management with a non-diet approach.
Gabriela has been working in Private Practice in Brazil since 2007 and Australia since 2012. She currently works in Headspace (Lismore), Casino Medical Centre and McKid Medical in Kyogle. Gabriela is passionate about helping people with chronic disease, especially Diabetes.
