Welcome to my latest blog – a day in the ‘eating’ life of Tasman! Following on from Breakfasts in the previous blog, this one is all about lunch!
PICTURES: Despite having 100’s of pictures of Tasman eating, I realised I have hardly any of him eating lunch! Mostly because we are often out for lunch (playing at the beach, lake or park etc).

REGULAR LUNCHES FOR TASMAN:
Sandwich using 1 slice of wholemeal or rye bread with any of following: avocado, tinned salmon/tuna mixed with soy mayonnaise, hommus, egg mixed with chopped parsley & soy mayonnaise, natural peanut butter or cream cheese.
+ vegetable pieces such as cucumber sticks, baby tomatoes, or piece of cooked corn on cob or some left over steamed vege (admittedly these often end up thrown on the floor after a quick suck – but I STILL always give him some vegetables, I don’t mind if he doesn’t eat them, it’s about the exposure).
+ piece of fruit (whatever is in season/available at the markets)
+ Water in a sipper cup
Another favourite easy lunch is Vegetable Frittata fingers or savoury muffins which I make in a big batch and freeze for a quick lunch.
